An integrative approach to psychotherapy and psychoanalysis combines traditional psychoanalytic work with ind/body modalities like hypnotherapy; mindfulness and meditation practices and yogatherapy to create in a unique therapeutic formula to meet each client's individual needs. Although there is a strong belief that early experience lies at the root of unconsciously motivated self-defeating behaviors; connecting past to present is only the beginning of a therapeutic journey. Holistic therapy is an approach where the therapist initiates a conversation designed to elucidate the issue which brings an individual to therapy, and then through the exploration of personal narrative and possibly with the use of other agreed upon mind/body modalities, a therapeutic plan is designed with the main goal of establishing one's connection to their own natural resources, strenghts andkills. As therapist, my role is to provide an environment of safety and respect. While I have worked hard to hone my listening and observational skills, I am merely a fellower journeyor who can help you to develop the skills and practices to effectuate and maintain lasting change.
